UNODC-INTERPOL Global Fraud Summit 2026

I’m looking forward to participating in the UNODC Global Fraud Summit 2026—a timely and important forum to advance our collective efforts against cyber fraud and AI‑enabled crime.
At a time when digital threats are evolving faster than ever, raising awareness is only the first step. We must also strengthen the procedural tools, legal frameworks, and mutual legal assistance mechanisms that enable criminal justice authorities to effectively investigate and prosecute increasingly sophisticated transnational crimes. This includes expanding specialized training that integrates technical expertise, legal approaches, and practical strategies—such as the use of joint investigation teams —to ensure that offenders can be successfully brought to justice.
The summit will provide an excellent opportunity to collaborate with international organizations, law enforcement, leaders from the financial and crypto sectors, academia, and civil society. By working together and fostering strong public–private partnerships, we can move beyond dialogue and translate shared knowledge into concrete action
